4.1 Background
In the mobile panel industry, Bonding equipment requires the application of ACF adhesive in the Bonding area before the Bonding process. Each workstation needs AOI to prevent issues such as adhesive shortage or overflow in the Bonding area, and to check for alignment offset after the Bonding process. The use of AOI Adhesive Overflow and Offset Detection Vision System improves production efficiency and product quality while significantly reducing labor costs in the production line.
4.2 System Performance
The system selects appropriate hardware based on the equipment's installation space and product dimensions. In cases where installation space is limited, custom lighting solutions are employed to meet the requirements and obtain high-quality images. The system uses a two-stage exposure method to capture both overflow and offset images, processing and merging them into a single image for comprehensive analysis. This approach ensures that offset and adhesive overflow can be effectively addressed within the same image. The system displays offset data and results, as well as adhesive overflow results on the user interface. The results are also communicated to the PLC through an interface, allowing the PLC to control material handling and rejection based on the AOI system's findings.

4.3 Work Effectiveness
The system operates stably for extended periods and is capable of detecting product defects with 100% accuracy. When changing materials on the production line, switching the system's software takes very little time and does not disrupt production.
